NB

I learned something on Saturday.

If your arms are not strong enough to lift it, if it's an awkward position and you can't get your knees and hips under it, if you know you're going to pull a muscle in your back, don't lift it.

Fortunately I've only learned this twice this (academic) year.

  1. Let's hope you don't have to learn this lesson again. Let's also hope that you can take what you've learned in this situation and apply it to other situations when you may also need to determine whether your current skill/strength/attitude is up to the task at hand. Asking for help is a usually a sign of wisdom, not weakness.
